Administaff Small Business Classic Readies for Fifth Year
In a short four years, the Administaff Small Business Classic presented by UnitedHealthcare has created a new fall tradition for golf in the Houston area.

The Champions Tour has made an impressive impact on the landscape of sports in the Houston area with charitable donations, a sound economic impact and the opportunity for area fans to rub elbows with golf’s greatest legends.

Many friends of the tournament have provided unselfish support in the past four years—John Mahaffey, Roger Clemens and Johnny Bench. Through their efforts and support from over 900 volunteers, the tournament has been able to donate funds to localHouston area charities including The George and Barbara Bush Endowment for Innovative Cancer Research at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Bernhard Langer, Larry Nelson, Mark McNulty and Jay Haas have been crowned champions of the Administaff Small Business Classic and will return October 13-19 to compete against what has become one of the strongest fields on the Champions Tour schedule. The 54-hole stroke-play competition with a purse of $1.7 million will be broadcast to a national and international audience Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Golf Channel.

With support from Administaff, UnitedHealthcare, The Woodlands Country Club and numerous area corporate partners, fans can look forward to Champions Tour golf each fall for years to come.
