Tickets on Sale For Fourth Administaff Small Business Classic
Variety of Options Available for Area Sports Fans
HOUSTON – September 18, 2007- Tickets for the 2007 Administaff Small Business Classic are on sale now and offer area sports fans a variety of ways to see the greats of golf compete at Augusta Pines Golf Club, October 8-14.
All ticket purchases include event parking and shuttle service from official tournament parking lots. Children 12 and under are admitted for free to the tournament when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.
The “Greats of the Game” Special is one of the more popular options and must be purchased online at www.administaffclassic.com. For $50, a patron receives two week-long grounds badges and a tournament baseball hat.
Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 281-357-4653, visiting the golf tournament website www.administaffclassic.com, or at select HEB stores. Daily tickets are $15 per person and include grounds and clubhouse access. The week-long badge is $50 and also includes grounds and clubhouse access.
Currently, 29 of the top 30 on this year’s money list are scheduled to compete—including all three past champions-- Larry Nelson, Mark McNulty and Jay Haas.
The entire 2007 rookie class has also indicated it will be in Houston this year. Those players who reached the 50-year-old eligibility this season are: Mark O’Meara, Bernhard Langer, Nick Price, Jeff Sluman and John Cook. Earlier this year, Seve Ballesteros, the sixth member of this new class, announced he was retiring from the game.
Curtis Strange, Fuzzy Zoeller, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Craig Stadler, Scott Simpson, Bruce Lietzke, Jim Thorpe, Scott Hoch and Peter Jacobsen are also scheduled to compete.
The Administaff Small Business Classic, the 27th of 29 official events on the Champions Tour schedule, benefits local Houston charities.
