John Cook to Make Champions Tour Debut
At Administaff Small Business Classic

29 of top 30 Scheduled to Compete

HOUSTON – September 25, 2007- John Cook, an 11-time winner on the PGA TOUR will start his Champions Tour career at the Administaff Small Business Classic at Augusta Pines Golf Club, October 8-14.

Cook will join one of the strongest fields of the year for the fourth edition of the Administaff Small Business Classic as 29 of the top 30 on the current Champions Tour money list prepare to compete in Houston.

Also, the entire 2007 rookie class, including Cook, has indicated it will be at Augusta Pines Golf Club. Those players who reached the 50-year-old eligibility this season are: Mark O’Meara, Bernhard Langer, Nick Price and Jeff Sluman.

“We are really excited about this field,” said Executive Director Bryan Naugle. “John Cook making his first start on the Champions Tour is icing on the cake. He has been a tremendous competitor throughout his career and the list of other players coming this year is one of the finest we have seen.”

Curtis Strange, Fuzzy Zoeller, Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Craig Stadler, Scott Simpson, Bruce Lietzke, Jim Thorpe, Scott Hoch and Peter Jacobsen are also scheduled to compete

Cook, who has earned over $12 million during his career, will be 50 on October 2. One of his best finishes on the PGA TOUR this year was a tie for 27th at the Shell Houston Open. His most recent victory came at the 2001 Reno-Tahoe Open. His best year on the PGA TOUR came in 1992 when he won three times and finished third on the money list. The following year, he earned a spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup team.

Tickets are now on sale for Houston’s only Champions Tour event. All ticket purchases include event parking and shuttle service from official tournament parking lots. Children 12 and under are admitted for free to the tournament when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

The “Greats of the Game” Special is one of the more popular options and must be purchased online at www.administaffclassic.com. For $50, a patron receives two week-long grounds badges and a tournament baseball hat.

Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 281-357-4653, visiting the golf tournament website www.administaffclassic.com, or at select HEB stores. Daily tickets are $15 per person and include grounds and clubhouse access. The week-long badge is $50 and also includes grounds and clubhouse access.
